Little Boy Lost Crowdfunding Campaign

Hello to our Mannison Press friends, fans, and supporters!

You may recall in early December of 2019 we opened submissions for a new anthology called “Little Boy Lost: More Tales of Youth Disrupted.” This will be the companion volume to our inaugural anthology published in October of last year, “Little Girl Lost: Thirteen Tales of Youth Disrupted.”

And we are very excited!

However, as we are still a fledgling company, we humbly appeal to our friends and supporters for their assistance. The authors who contribute stories to our publishing house — regardless of the project — deserve to be compensated for their hard work. While our Minibooks operate on a royalty model which requires little up-front investment, our anthology projects are based on a cents-per-word form of payment. This is a very fair and industry-standard arrangement, but can be rather costly for a small operation like ours.

So, to help pay our authors and offset production costs, we are running a crowdfunding campaign through IndieGoGo. From February 1st through March 14th, you will have the opportunity to support writers, artists, and small business…and even receive something in return.

While the option always remains open for an anonymous donation in the amount of your choice, we also have some really great products to offer for your support! The PERKS for this campaign include a nice variety of book bundlings of one or both anthologies in price points ranging from $5 to $100.

But even if you can’t contribute at this time, you can still help. Make some noise! Share on social media, mention it to your book club, tell your mom…help us get the word out.

Help “Little Boy Lost” get found.

Stay tuned for news of the campaign launch, or follow us on Twitter and Facebook for the latest updates and author acceptances!

Thanks for reading.
